Thus, planning for your surgery, specifically incision type and technique, is crucial.
Specifically, the periareolar incision (incision in or around the areola or that dark circle around the nipples) should be avoided as it has been found out to increase your risk of damage to the milk ducts and its surrounding nerves.
How about the silicone content?
We also receive concerns about the possibility of silicone causing health problems to newborns who are breastfed. By and large, there is no solid evidence linking silicone to possible health risks in children who are breastfed.
